Shit, have you seen an episode of RiD? That shit is so choppy I feel like I'm having a seizure every time I've watched an episode. I'm not going to pretend G1 is any sort of good animation outside of a few episodes or a scene here or there, but a ton of shows these days are consistently fucking horrible in terms of both animation and detail.
