It has a nice amount of interior space and cool accessories like the hoses, a magnet closed back compartment, red bush, 3 animals including the stingray which is decently rare. I also love the dark-grey octagon modified bricks.
I think it is also the best use of the giant UFO panels / saucers, both the transparent ones and the inverted ones underneath. I love giant transparent parts.
I am biased because I love aquazone, had this as a kid, and love the stingray faction. I think its great but could easily see someone being underwhelmed, but it is huge too.
It is THE stingray set to get. ~$115 with all parts + instructions is decently affordable compared to some vintage sets, but I am more partial to bases like the neptune lab which is not much more expensive than this set.
I actually have one of these + the base for sale too that is 100% with instructions, but my store is closed for the year.
