>>10862209Castles are fortifications, not palaces, but I agree that this set's interiprs are too barren, it's less interesting than the LKC and I will not be buying it
>>10862231>Castlefags, why do you like Castle anyway? There's a little Don Quixote in everyone
I like medieval aesthetics, clearly its a good place for adventures given the popularity of LotR, GoT, DnD etc. I actually prefer the more mundane side of it because it feels more rich and real, like how the 80s castle sets had just people towing wagons and the current sets have lots of peasants
>The only Castle theme I thought was interesting was the Fantasy era because of the fantasy races,I liked the dwarves and the crown knights were decent, plus it gave us the medieval village set (GOATed) but most of the fantasy era sets were mid, KIngdoms was the best post-nineties era looking at the sets but I didn't have any sets from that except for the advent calendar
>I'm a bit of a medieval fantasy fan but never bought the sets. Are you more a fan of realistic, grounded Castle? Or fantastical Castle?I love folklore and fantasy but I mostly prefer more grounded having a village, a carpenter, an inn, is better than another fucking tower like with Knights kingdom (worst castle era unless counting nexo), really you can just make your own other races and creatures with minifig parts (just give elves long hair and dwarves short legs+beards)
