I get why the Marvel Roster was dogshit, although with hindsight there was literally no reason to mandate non-Fox properties the way they did other than they didn't want Capcom to know they were getting the rights back, which makes no sense because VG rights are different things. But whatever, I get why no Dr D, or X-Men.
...but why the fuck man, given the absolute state of the Marvel side of the roster, did Capcom double down on that shit with their side of it? Where the fuck is Akuma? The character that literally started this whole premise and who had only once not been included (MvC1)? Where the fuck is Wesker? Vergil? Why the christ did you keep Nemesis? Or Arthur who looks APPALLING in the HD textures? Why is Spencer still using his trash ps2 game model? Why the fuck is Frank Fucking West still in this game? You killed him off the year before!
There are literally only two new characters in that side of the base roster: Jedah and fucking X! That's it!
Which leads us into the decision to put all the new characters behind a paywall which was wretched then, it's still wretched now. Fuck I don't think we ever had Ultron-Sigma playable either.
