Like we know this Super Bebop and Mighty Rocksteady set got "leaked" and I know I've read articles stating some signed TMNT product and Elvira product will be sent out to stores randomly. How hopeless am I to try finding the rest of the Dead Space NECA figures? I have Isaac I've seen at least one slasher and maybe one infector necromorph.

It's a collector event with Target and NECA. Seems to be with most of the big brands, Evil Dead, TMNT, Elvira, Gremlins, Back to the Future, Kidrobot, Rupaul, etc, etc. We don't know what the product is going to be yet, really. But if it's in store, it sounds like some kind of display setup, if I had to guess. Maybe something outside of just the NECA section?

Any third party options for default wings for this line? I have Goliath and thailog and opted to just keep their wing in the box. Hell, I'd take a resin printed one and paint them myself.

This is Trick or Treats new line of 8" horror figures, they said:

Well.... I mean... Yeah, looks like from the early 2000s. Awkward sculpts and little to no articulation. I love seeing obscure stuff get merch, I just wish it wasn't statue shit.

I'm not even one of those people that shitpost with "it's bad on purpose!" because sometimes stuff looks cool when it tries to emulate an old style, but in this case I don't feel that way. But maybe the packaging will also emulate that early 2000s style which would be neat. As a kid I loved collecting Cult Classics, Movie Maniacs and Cinema of Fear but I always wish they had articulation, and now modern horror stuff does and it rules. This line is like, REMEBER WHEN THESE FIGURES DIDN'T HAVE ARTICULATION????? COOL RIGHT??? no, not cool.

Are Toony Terrors worth keeping in the packaging? I don't know a lot about Western figures but I picked up an Elvira because I like the character; I kind of want to keep her in for keeping the value or whatever but between the dinged cardboard, warped name thing, and just kind of derpy-looking face of the sculpt IDK if it'd be worth it or not. A lil offtopic, but I would kinda disagree with that. I don't know if I would say there's any one Shredder in the show, at least not that I can recall--by which I mean a cartoonish villain who is evil for evil's sake and single-mindedly chases down the heroes to destroy them. Xanatos, and in fact many of the other villains, were relatively complex, and could gravitate from good to bad depending on the situation. That's what made Gargoyles so great, it had a lot of depth for a kids show at the time. Changing factions, uneasy alliances, understandable motivations, it was all very compelling. It made the characters seem much more realistic and human.

I keep all of my toony terrors in their boxes. They don't have a lot of mobility so I'd rather just hang them on the wall with their cards in a static pose. Until we get a Scooby gang to with all of them they are useless outside unless you're setting up some sort of cartoon only display. They look too out of place with everything else.

Odds are bad for the DS1 isaac. Early 2000s figures on ebay are gonna be stupidly priced by collectors trying to fleece you for a loose figure. Your best bet is genuinely looking at local listings in your area, find someone just getting rid of stuff. Ive found a ton of cheap figures this way. Isaac is a cool toy if you love dead space but guaranteed you will not feel good paying over 50$ for a 7" figure with barely any articulation or accessories, which almost certainly will ne leaking plasticizer.

I'd say just try to wait it out, if the Remake does well which it probably will, maybe someone will make a new Isaac

The faceplates swap REALLY easily. Just two plugs behind the eyes, easy to knock them off if you move the head back too much and catch the chin or something, too. I like this method a lot more than having to swap the whole head, so I hope they find a way to implement this more on the Gargs.

The arcade turtles have the same amount of gloss that the style guide turtles have.

Neither of these are very matte. Look at how shiny the SHF Turtles are around the collarbones and shoulders and Leo's thigh and...well, a lot of places, really.

This is an actual good matte finish. Notice how the light forms a smooth, perfect gradient on every curved surface, there are no "hot spots" of reflected light at all. This is why you pay for expensive topcoat, cause it really makes a difference.

The Ultimate figure is going to be a new figure almost entirely. I don't think there's going to be any changes to this re-released 2-pack. Again, this'll be for folks wanting to complete their collection that missed out. This and the Casey pack have been the most requested re-releases.

I found the haulathon section.
I'm only interested in horror figures, so I snagged what I could. Unfortunately I was too late to get the Mummy, but there were 3 Wolfmen left and 1 Ash, so I got 1 of each.

I didn't realize it was the B&W Wolfman, that's probably why he was still in stock unlike the Mummy. Oh well. I'm just stoked, I haven't had a legit good find at my target since like over 2 years ago.
