That's due to the torso, not the limbs.
CW Motormaster was not a good torso. Legacy Motormaster is not a good combiner. There are currently no good Menasors in CHUG scale from Hasbro.

The cars contribute nothing to the structure of the combiner. A proper combiner would have the arms form the actual limbs.

Interesting, so Motormaster is still a CW style combiner (though he needs part of the trailer for the shoulder combiner ports) but the trailer now becomes his hollowed out limbs that allows the Legacy Stunticons to be attached Sunbow style. I think this is well planned out, Motormaster trailer provides the exo-skeleton to attach the Legacy Stunticons but can be easily swapped out for the older CW limbs. He'll probably look like a midget with the CW limbs though. I kinda want to see an Energon Optimus retool of this.

Yeah, but what if they mixed in a bit of Cybertron OP's supermode? They could give the combiner limbs extra parts so they can combine with the cab portion as boots, gloves, and a backpack. Heck they could also squeeze in a bit of Armada OP's bot mode, and give us westerners a trifecta homage to the Unicron Trilogy.

It's better to appeal to one type of fan rather than appealing to everyone, especially when everyone in this fanbase is split on anything. I think it would work best as an Energon Optimus retool only if it ever happens, Would be able to give purpose to the Prime Force trailer that is only there to contain the Super Mode limbs.

I see folks in the /tfg are finally starting to realize what a shitty combiner Menasor really is and that there really isn't any way to do it well when your torso bot is a big bulky semi cab and your limbs are all thin cars.

That being said, Legacy blows CW out of the fucking water for the bot modes alone. Menasor being a shitty combiner aside, at least the combined mode for Legacy actually fucking looks like something and at this scale, I really don't give a shit if it "cheats" by having an entire skeleton that you just slap cars on. That's part of what made Menasor so stupid to being with. Would I accept this at MP scale? No, but then again, I wouldn't buy an MP combiner in the first place seeing as how they have always been a fool's errand to begin with, especially if you're trying to take "accuracy" into account.

Technically anon might not considering that wages are going up as well and depending on what the job is anon might feel no difference in the cost. Also it's closer to $5 to $10 at most. Another possibility is to just wait it out. My area no one bought the Walmart Netflix guys So I got that Soundwave wiith Ravage and Laserbeak for $12 and some change. Depends on what you job is, services like power and gas providers or water techs, etc are already paying upfront a lot more to brace for the rescission, services like food and retail? Yeah, they are not going to match as the demand isn't as hard to fill.
We talked about essential jobs in 2020 but come this fall we are really going to see how that plays out and I'm really interested to see how the toy market fairs as a lot of low end people either have worthless jobs or easy to fill services get smacked so hard that they have to stop buying collectables all together. Going to be some wild times.

I have Netflix Soundwave and I though for sure after seeing Kingdom Blaster just being his Boombox self we were just going to get Netflix Soundwave repacked in Legacy with the biggest monkey paw risk being he'd have a yellow visor but somehow these guys went with all the wishes on the paw and just rolled out a 3~4 year old mold with it's only change being it's "clean"

I'm guess it must be a cost thing in someway to make the mircoplayer Voyager over the weird space bus but it's such a weird offering all things consider, they could have gone with another refresher such as the Quintesson Judge, Springer, Apeface, or even Tank Megatron, all of those could either use a clean update or were just low enough in production to encourage a release. But that Soundwave was well filled being in wave two and repacked in wave 3 and a revision wave after that. This just feels like they went "oh yeah we made Blaster he should fight a Soundwave, here toss this at them"

Nearly all of legacy releases have a gun and a melee weapon (except stunticons) and the chainsaw was obviously added when he was rolled over from kingdom

I wish the hips were little more secure in combined form, but I like this guy. Collecting the pieces for him over the course of a few weeks was fun, I genuinely enjoy building combiners bit by bit. Getting them all in a box set is neat too, but not quite the same.
