>>32919286>Now, GF introduces a theme with fairys being associated to the moon (i.e Moonblast being the strongest fairy move). Why they included Clefable but not Cresselia, Lunala, or even Lunatone?I assume using the moon as a power source for a magical attack is a fairy/nature(think of ceremonies/rituals) thing. Whereas resembling the moon is more space-related/celestial. When you look at the moon, would you assume that it's tied with the fair folk instead of being an aspect of the universe? Not at all. Moonblast is no different from Solarbeam, with plants using the sun's energy to create an attack, but that doesn't make the sun itself related to plants.
And speaking of ceremonies/rituals, doesn't the Clefairy line continuously dance around the moon like they have some obsession with it? They aren't the moon pokemon, but they worship it as if its something special or even magical and such. I guess I'm only one who sees what they where going for with the Moon = Fairy association. It doesn't seem as inconsistent as most people think it is.
