>>44656535Are you done lying? Serena had plenty of screentime and was always active onscreen. Her character arc can be divided into two parts : the struggle and the goal. The first half of XY was about serena trying to find a goal. She ran away from home because she hate ryhorn racing and ash was a convenient excuse. Keep in mind that it was ash who invited her on the journey unlike others who invited themselves. She tried doing a lot of things like pokevisions, baking contests and battles. She got a lot of focus in the summer camp (an episode had her sitting at the edge of a lake thinking what the fuck am i doing with my life) . Then she found out about tripokalon and made it her life's goal and challenged her mom to a ryhorn race only to prove that she won't quit on her newfound dream. Then you have the famous haircut episode which was the turning point of her life where she decided to never give up. I'll admit the tripokalon were handly badly but that's because the focus wasn't the competition but on Serena's internal development. Each tripokalon taught her something new about herself and helped her become more confident. At the end of the season all of this development culminates into a cute little kiss which proved that serena finally broke out of her shell and is ready to be an independent woman. She's a pretty well-written character in my opinion along with lillie and dawn.
