>The good
I like the idea behind the game and I very much appreciate some of the things it has going for it, the references to historical events and mythology are something I'm a sucker for and I did enjoy some of the regional variants. Some of the sections in the story are decent, but they are few and are far between.
>The meh
Not much to say here, while I did like some of the regional variants, many look pretty tacky or just downright meh, the game losses steam pretty hard near the end and it's clear not even the devs seemed to care much about it considering the padding.
>The bad
Oh boy, where do I start? This game claims to be "historically accurate" and yet it niggerwashes several ancient nations because of course, shoves faggotry and pozzed politics into the game ever so subtly and occasionally it went out of it's way to depict historical figures in an insultingly moronic fashion, what they did to Alexander the great in this game is beyond repugnant, the game's story is meh, passable I suppose, it's pretty shallow all things considered, the gameplay is truth be told, very dull, you walk from place to place and do thing with very little happening in between with very few standout sections.
The bugs, oh gods above the bugs, there's way too many and quite a few that can break your game via softlocks, I wouldn't be shocked if there's a corruption bug, I got a bizarre one myself wherein I had two following Pokemon at all times, which made completing several quests impossible, this game is currently in it's "definitive edition" and yet it is so buggy that it baffles me to wonder how much worse it could have been in the past. Several Pokemon were implemented absurdly poorly, ONE OF THE STARTERS is barely functional and can't relearn level up movepools, the starters also have items and only 1 of them seems to work, the Water starter doesn't even have a functioning ability. Several Pokemon are equally screwed by bizarre incompetence in this area.
