I don't care what reddit or twitter circlejerks say. I've been complaining about the animations and 3D models since X and Y. They are fucking trash. This was the perfect chance to show they're better. A clean slate. Instead they're choosing to be lazy hacks yet again.
You can only be lazy for so long before it turns into incompetence. When the time comes for them to pull out the stops, they'll be fucked. My expectations for Gen 8 are rock bottom because they consistently refuse to improve on the most basic things, and instead add cluttered gimmicks they can market.
