Story was alright. Nothing amazing, but it had it's kino moments, brought higher by the effort put into the eventing.
Music was pretty good. It generally fit decently well with the areas.
>The questionableHMs as a whole were REALLY inconsistent. You don't need strength on a mon to move boulders, just have the HM for it, and Fly has a key item to use, the rest work as normal. At least they generally weren't necessary to progress the story, but it was annoying.
Some features were pretty annoying. F12 crashing the game is pretty bad, but not a massive hit in my enjoyment of the game. Only being able to register one key item really sucked though. I never used the Pokevial simply because I opted to keep the Fly item registered, and then completely forgot it's existence until I found another charge towards the end of the first half.
Following mons like many other fangames still do absolutely nothing, except this time, the really kino scene above made it worth it. Outside of that, there's really not much they do, if anything. Though I'll admit I don't really see it as a essential feature like some people do, so I'm probably a little more critical of it when it's not implemented well. Sure, it's neat and all, but more often than not they just get in the way and offer very little outside of silently stay behind you and do nothing.
