>>54367417I swear to God, I read posts like this and just wonder to myself why these people are even playing an AR game. Imagine if you lived in the Pokémon world and you lived in a barren wasteland. Hard to think you'd find anything more than a couple rats or shrews out there, y'know? Even where I live I'll see a coyote maybe once a month, most of the time I'll just see the occasional rabbit or a bunch of bugs.
Look man, if pretending you're living in New York City via a Pokémon game with no actual immersive qualities besides a 3D mapping of OpenStreetMap is enough to jack you off, fine, but don't pretend it's justified/not really cheating because the game is shit.

>it was unreasonable of what GF was asking players to doGF wanted players to use the best Pokémon they could realistically acquire, only the "pros" ever believed they expected people to bring 100% optimal IV Pokémon. Even then, they've slowly worked to add in mechanics to various games to make it easier for you whiny children without it feeling like you can instantly roid up your Pokémon once you hit post-game. I get why people would rather compete in a game where they can just pick the physically superior specimens they desire, but that's not what GF/TPCi had in mind.
