I stopped reading there. Also the extra legendaries are much harder to find in indigo disk than in ultrasun/ultramoon. And theyre more too. It even got the mythicals for FREE, no event based. This is exactly what pokemon should be, gen 9 is the best by far.

But gen 7 stays a close second due to gen 8 being rushed to shit. So yeah id rather pay for gen 9 (btw usum are enhanced so its 90€

I gladly paid for the complete cartridge of violet while also gladly skipping over usum, hell I didn't even bother pirating it. those shit games are known to have changed so little that even emerald and platinum were more meaningful than usum.

There's more changes from base Sun and Moon to Ultimate Sun and Moon than there were from Ruby and Saphire to Emerald or Diamond and Pearl fo Platinum.

The actual worst part is that there are a ton of Zoomers that consider gen 7 to be best in the series. I've seen dozens of them in-person across multiple college campuses and I'll never be able to wrap my head around the concept.

Like I said, can't wrap my head around it. I swept the entire game as a dumb 17yo with an all-physical team 10 levels under. Lusamine also bored the shit out of me, I'd take Cyrus over her any day.

It definitely was. Not many villains in this series are motivated by obsession.
She started the whole thing because her husband disappeared, and it ends with her accepting he's gone and moving on with her life thanks in large part to her kids.
The whole alien invasion by a sun eater is kinda incidental.

What do you think having all the mons was for, genius? Even if you weren't a hardcore dex autist you could still have rest assured that every mon would be in every game as long as it existed. Alolafags act like the natdex is a bad thing and gladly eat up their slop despite it being unequivocally worse than the gen prior on the same hardware.

This fixes so much aggravation in catching Pokemon compared to SM. So many turns wasted one-shotting an SOS poke only for a new one to appear before you can throw a ball.
