>>33192747>Everything is too simplifiedThe lineart is more simple to allow for more regular animation. S&M has more movement than previous series, which, like most anime with detailed lineart (read: most anime), is almost entirely made up of stills broken up, maybe once or twice an episode, by "properly" animated action sequences.
Everyone who thinks the simplified character models are evidence of laziness are total rubes who know nothing about animation. The character designs just signify a difference in priorities -- S&M is more interested in movement (and expressive movement) than in detailed lineart or strict adherence to character models.
