Off course some people did not liked how she looked but I think she looked cuter than Dawn on BW season 02. Anyway, majority of the hate toward Iris disappeared after Ash caught a Dragonite. As long as other people are allowed to call Iris out for doing anything dumb and she does not receive any special treatment, she will be fine.
I kind of wish students on Blueberry Academy mentioned their region's champion being as young as them.
