LE GRINDNo retard, it's about reducing the amount of experience your party gains which, in turn, reduces your party's overall level, making the game more challenging. If your grinding with the exp off, just to get to where you'd be if you had it on, than you're defeating the purpose. You're SUPPOSED to be underleveled.
