>1. Leon and Ash go to the finals, in which case Ash wins it all because they won't pull another Tobias/Alan after shilling the tourney so much and in the shillmon contest Pikachu beats Charizard
>2. Diantha and Cynthia go to the finals, afterwards Leon and Ash have a no-holds-barred battle with all gimmicks available and nothing on the line but the battle itself
As it stands, scenario 1 is the most plausible one, while scenario 2 is the thinking man's hope (and cope) that the Pocket Monsters anime will become true, unironic kino, for once.
