>>51117524Let me clarify to you 4Kids didn't "begin" using replacement music later, they *always* did & the same goes for TPCi (TPCi's very first season in BF keeps less OST than 4Kids for the first 2/3rd of AG believe it or not). That said, a notable difference is in fact, that 4Kids *never,* ever replaced as much OST as TPCi has for close to the last **decade** even in later seasons.
Also as you said, they still kept some of the OST even at their worst on this: TPCi has episodes of JN's dub that keep **0%** of the Japanese score indeed- say what people will about 4Kids, it NEVER happened in over 400 episodes in the first 8 years but *did* under TPCi.
Trivia: TPCi has only had one season that kept most of the OST (14), 4Kids had the first three (S3 kept the most at 72% for them ironically, none other than Johto Journeys)-- and TPCi has replaced more of the OST than 4Kids ever did in AG in: BF, S16 BW, XY, SM & JN, literally 2 seasons + 3 entire sagas now.
Later TPCi dub makes later 4Kids dub look heavenly, IMO, at least the latter has been redeeemed outside the Movies due to the former's horrendous work.
