Both still got to jump ship into the TPCi dub directly. Both still got to voice Wobbuffet and Gary the very next Season in Season 9 after 8 in fact. Naturally, they both got punished for it from 4Kids, but they still got to advance nonetheless.
So if those two could break the contract, it means they were both approached with the offer to do so period unlike all the others-- and Lillis, Zagnit etc. weren't. The controversy was essentially both companies fault, desu, but who were the people who suffered for it were the production staff from the 4Kids dub basically- writers, musicians, and voice actors.
