just played it recently after beating gen 1 trough 4. bw is the only old pokemon game to have the charm and quirkiness of the new pokemon game and none of the early instalments weirdness of the old one making it objectively the best 2D Pokemon game

Ok, which GBA games look better? Name them. I acknowledge that there may be a few exceptional looking games that could look better but the idea that it looks worse than them in the same way that ZA looks like a Past gen console game is dishonest.

So let's just say I concede they are straight up bad, fine. Why are you even here then? If the Gen V games are bad for those reasons, the current ones have those same issues, plus more, and an even worse scale. For example SwSh was just a hallway simulator at times. At least BW had off beat paths and locations worth returning to. It sounds like you are even less than a fan than me, so I don't even know what you are trying to argue for here

Tried to use both Carnivine and Swalot when I was a kid playing Platinum and Emerald respectively. Carnivine was straight us suffering and Swalot wasn’t that much better.

I also used Tangela in FireRed, Sunflora in HGSS, Mantine in Platinum, Wailord in Emerald, Bisharp and Beheeyem in BW. I was a madlad. lol
