Also Volo in PLA probably is still in his 20s-40s because why would he still hang out with Cogita after having learned pretty much everything from her? I always got the impression that she accepted him as her student out of either pity, shared ancestry or because she's a cougar but by the time Rei arrived she had no respect left for him.
