PM.net's own regulars were caught off-guard by the shutdown. The plan appears to be to eventually get the site up again, though likely as a permanent archive of what's already there; due to the lack of free time from the staffers, the site might no longer be adding anything new once it returns.
Personally, if manpower is really the issue, I'd just retire the news section (which is mainly filled with mobile game updates and Japan-only merch drops) in favor of continuing to update the DVD, CD, song, and anime episode databases, since those require less daily maintenance and are more useful to people.
