The train from Lyon station to Nice... it feels like the train doesn’t stop, and you arrive at Nice from Lyon so quickly.
France doesn't have many renovations... people often redecorate themselves (laughs).
Do French people leave home by 6-7 AM? They seem to be out early. Are there many people on the streets? Many people seem to be at cafes by 9 AM.
There are always people in cafes, even during lunch.
Drinking wine or beer from the afternoon... it's the same in London. Also in Germany.
Around 8 PM, cafes are busy with people having dinner. (Note: Many restaurants open at 7 PM, with places crowded by 8 PM.)
(Side note: Open restaurants stay busy until 10 PM.)
Heading to work by 7 AM... drinking at 6 PM and heading home, then dinner.
So, from 7 AM to 10 PM, they spend most of their time outside. Do they only get 5-6 hours of sleep?
French people are skilled at making things by hand. Even department stores are full of small handmade items like fabrics, buttons, and small crafts. Also, freehand, artistic lines seem very characteristic of the French style.
The sound of the TGV bell is mysterious... it's a fascinating sound.
