>>51010174Because Metagross was completely dominating Pikachu through 98% of the fight, it's the gorillionth Ash gets BTFO through the entire battle and his Pokemon tank a million hits while his opponent's Pokemon go down like if they're made of wet toilet paper fight we've gotten in PM, Ash was spamming Thunderbolt like a retard without even trying to be creative even once despite 5 seconds ago taking down Cradily and overcoming its strengths in a very creative way, the Z-Move now suddenly having auto-aim out of nowhere when it's never been shown to be anything but a straightforward beam before, not even half of the Z-Move hitting Metagross and last but certainly not least the finisher being the Iron Tail which while it usually wouldn't matter one weird thing this tournament has been doing is touch upon the importance of type match-up and acknowledging moves super-effectiveness, or lack of thereof, but now when it's Ash turn then we suddenly go back to them not matter.
I'm a fucking massive Pikachu slurper. My favorite moments in this anime is seeing the rat surmounting all the odds and beating enemies it shouldn't have any right beating. I was going HOLY SHIT THE BATTLE IS FINALLY GETTING GOOD AGAIN when Pikachu went and fought Cradily and beat it the typical Ash and Pikachu style and then everything went to fucking shit the second Metagross came out.
