Save a billion of them and then do a super ultra sunday dish with maxed out pot size and some event that boosts the dish power. One anon did it and got like over 1 million strength on his dish, it was insane.

Viewers were in the worst mood possible to receive what they were about to witness when they got their first look at the Sun & Moon anime. It was essentially the antithesis to X&Y. Gone was the much improved tone, gone was the excellent animation style, and even the premise. It was now a much more childlike slice of life with new visuals that were.... divise to sale the least. The visuals alone, let alone the whole rest of the package, were so divisive that it fractured the viewership with many immediately dropping the anime never to return.

Notably one of the translators for the main fansub group at the time, PM fansubs, a woman who went by the username Sushi immediately dropped it and never looked back. From what I know she still all these years later hasn't gone back to the Pokémon anime, for personal enjoyment or to do subs. There were some people who liked Sun & Moon and I suppose good for them but there were a LOT of people who didn't and plenty who outright hated it. It split the viewership so deeply that it has never unsplit since then. There are a lot of anime viewers who, to them, the entire anime basically ended with X&Y and who view everything that came after S&M such as Journeys as spiritual successors to thatkind of the anime and not worth even hatewatching.

We get the first episode in the anime's history to not include Ash and Pikachu, with a story squarely focused on Goh, and an incident from his past that still bothered him years later. We get flashbacks, insights into Goh's character and feelings, and it all leads up to what was clearly meant to be an emotional and heartfelt reunion. The episode felt like a big deal for Goh's character and his development, and the impression I and others got at the time was, Horace wouldn't just be a one shot, CotD. Well, turns out he wasn't... but he also didn't reappear for something like 50+ episodes, and when he DID reappear, it made the earlier episode feel a lot less impactful, since Goh and Horace meeting again obviously didn't lead to them staying in contact or Goh being so moved/happy that he told Ash and the others about it the moment he got home from his family vacation. But anyway, point is, it really feels like there should've been at least one, if not two, episodes with Horace before the Articuno PM episode, given how much the writers seemed to want us to care about him and how much of an impact he supposedly had on Goh.

Should I just email them tomorrow that a family issue has come up and I need to reschedule again? The whole ordeal would be less than an hour but I honestly don't want to have to leave home until my singular class that day at 4 PM because of the aforementioned "thing".
