I wouldn't say it's guaranteed but it's not like Nintendo hasn't done it before, they let Project M live free for years despite knowing about it (you literally couldn't say Project M or even PM on Miiverse when it was still around for example) but then decided to say fuck it and attacked it when Smash 4 came around. Just because they've left it alone for this long doesn't mean they always will.

Well good news for you, REX/Remix is basically a sweat-repellent and a tourneyfag nightmare as actual competitive players stucks with their boring vanilla counterpart.

It's just a mugenized Legacy XP/PM that's has a little sense compared to other modpacks like Super Smash Bros Infinite and Kitsu's BrawlEX.
The decent hybrid gameplay is just a plus.

Yea, the game is 100% dead outside of ranked. At least I was able to test Comfey's skills. Sweet Kiss is obviously inferior to Floral Healing but I am not sure whether to pick Magical Leaf or Grass Knot for a second skill yet.
