Nice Monaco Èze Nice
Monaco has built strong ties with France, making it feel secure. France doesn’t have strict border controls; no need for passports.
(Italy also seems close. It takes 30 minutes to reach Italy. The border between France and Italy was not particularly noticeable.)
Wealth levels are quite different in the world. Monaco, Nice, and Monte Carlo have a wealth disparity compared to other regions.
(Monaco: On the north side is wealth, on the south side, the average class.)
The Formula 1 course was steeper than expected. The slope is intense. Even the tunnels feel tight, with high walls close to the roads.
Nice has many gardens, especially orange trees. There’s even a story that says living here brings happiness.
(I didn’t expect such beautiful orange trees two weeks ago, even though it’s different from Japan.)
Èze is located close to the sea and has a village on a high hill. The village has been attacked and fortified many times over.
(It seems like a stronghold, just like castles in Japan, built on high mountains and fortifying its walls.)
Churches are quite necessary.
There are many Italian tourists on the east side of Nice, while the west side sees many Spaniards.
The weather in Antibes was terrible. The wind was so strong that I couldn’t walk straight.
(I wonder if Antibes was the endpoint of the bad weather or if it was where the storm began.)
Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat seems even windier than Cannes.
Nice's weather in February is windy in the afternoon, and the wind blows very strongly around 2 PM. In the evenings, the air is calm, unlike other regions.
Nice was focused on the Russian influence. The city's movement and appearance feel different from other areas!
