If I remember correctly, he was originally seething about Contestshipping being canon or something about two or three years ago. He also seethed over how cool Alain was and how he himself couldn't become as cool as that so he decided to hate on Alain. At least that's what I got from his posts.
His attitude towards the XY series was very...tsundere.
He only started his whole "isekai comparison" thing half a year ago.
Anyways, the English DP opening disproves Pearlshipping, since it explicitly says "it's all about the challenges, it's all about the battles". Not a word about romance.
Dawn is for Cynthia by the way desu. Cute and actually canon.

Idk if it means anything but the only bad thing I did prior to all this since 2017 was spam amour pics on the now dead 'pokemonepisode.org' chatango server which if discounting the 'english only' rule they had, the ban was moreso for spamming. And this was back around 2015 if I'm remembering correctly. But yeah, I don't think I was that bad then compared to now.

Which is why I feel like it's a risk for me to like any character/shop before and after Serena/AmourShipping and that includes Dawn/PearlShipping. I know multishipping is a thing way before you mentioned it and I just don't think it's a good idea.

The thing about Luis is that he just can't seem to understand that it's perfectly possible to like a ship while still respecting people who have different ideas. There's nothing wrong with him being an Amourshipper provided he's calm about it and respects other people's opinions. Like he has to realize that there will always be people opposed to Amourshipping and no amount of him complaining or begging people to stop attacking Amour will ever stop that, especially when he himself attacks fans of other ships/girls (especially Pearlshipping/Dawn).
