>>55694940For gym making I always use third party websites that put the cell grid area on the gps map to help figure out which places can easily get another gym and even if the area isn’t supported with stops and gyms highlighted on it I can at least use the cell grid overlay for wherever I want in the world which includes visibility for the individual cells for stops and the cell zone where 1-3 gyms can exist
The way I can tell if an area needs a gym is to compare the in-game map with the overlayed gps map which always works unless some stops are super close to the cell borders which makes it harder to submit something without risking it not showing up later
Something I wish the game had told me upfront in any capacity was that you need 2 stops in one cell zone area to make 1 gym, 6 stops total for the 2nd gym, and 20 stops for a 3rd gym, which is usually impossible unless you’re in a city or busy downtown area or a giant park
Depending on the area you can be lucky and have an area be part of multiple cell zones making for potentially 2-4+ gyms, part of one zone for the standard potential 2 gyms, or be extremely unlucky and have a stop or so in your area but a bunch of gyms on the opposite side of the cell zone area which could be across the street or block
If you really want to you can find out what the cell structure in your area is if you really want that potential additional gym
