Derailing an unrelated thread with "hey guys guess what I'm racist" is at best off-topic and at worst an attempt to censor people who think differently from you. I don't know if you're an actual racist trying to push an agenda, or if you're an "epic troll" trying to bait people in, but either way you're the cancer killing 4chan, as we used to say.
4chan allows for total freedom of though, and so opinions typically not seen elsewhere crop up here. That leads people with those opinions to think this is a "safe space" for them, and that everyone else thinks the same way they do. They can't handle it when another poster isn't a racist nazi scumbag like they are, and they take it out on the rest of users by spamming their insecure propaganda, to the detriment of any actual discussion.
This happened when "Tits or GTFO" was first being used. It was originally meant to deter attention whores from trying to derail threads. But then a bunch of shitty misogynists saw this "radical" approach and assumed it was accepted here because 4chan is full of misogynists. That wasn't the case at all, but now you see a bunch of butthurt basement dwellers scream "TITS OR GTFO REEEEE" over the mere mention of female posters. What was originally used to prevent derails now derails threads. The same thing goes for this militant racism. It's as safe-space-y and hugboxxy as Tumblr is with leftist politics, but with the added "bonus" of being edgy.
TL;DR: /pol/posters are a bunch of insecure cucks who complain about a lack of free speech while simultaneously trying to shut down anyone who doesn't agree with them.
Don't engage them, just tell them to go back.
