It's been over 10 years since I first saw Rotom on Serebii and thought it was the coolest Pokemon ever made. Made me sad that it was post game only in DP, but I was so happy when I finally caught it for the first time. It's my two favorite colors; blue and orange, and it's part electric which is my favorite type. Then platinum revealed its alternate forms and I remember being hyped as fuck for it. Gen V made them even better by changing each forms type while still keeping electric. Rotom becoming the pokedex in SM is really cool because one of my all time favorites can actually speak. Rotom is amazing.

There's no general answer. While some could be grouped together, they all have their own set of appeals that make me enjoy them; what I enjoy is different for each one.

i probably like Espurr because I have autism.
Roserade is another of my favorites because it was one of the mons I used for my Diamond playthrough, and so it means alot to me.
Zekrom is my favorite legendary next to Necrozmadesign-wise. When I first saw him, I just couldn't resist liking.

Ribombee is fun to use in game and competitively, and I like bugs
Archeops is similarly fun to use, its also stupid strong and I love paleontology and the like
Volcarona has a pretty great design, and is also fun to use
