Anywhere that artists post, you'll find pokemon stuff. Pixiv's the easiest to browse and tumblr, twitter, and deviantart are good bets otherwise. Try the pkmnart tag and pokemon centric blogs on tumblr. Tags and groups on deviantart. Twitter's good for following people you've found on other sites.

Man, comfy threads and all those images of locales with pokemon make me wish that I could experience that shit firsthand, not even just being a trainer but just being able to see how beautiful that shit could be and explore it all. Always pictured it something as pic related would describe it.

Anywho, odd question for you anons. After beating the game and obviously experiencing whatever post-game content there is, do you ever save at any place specific or just wherever you were doing something important last? I found that in older games, it's always been at whatever Pokemon League or Battle Tower but I've also defaulted to some pokemon center in some comfy town as of late.

I hear you and feel the same way, anon.
In fact I'm kinda wishing there was more artwork, especially official artwork, depicting the locales and interesting nooks and crannies of the pokemon world.

As for me and where I save - often I will save in a comfy part of an area, somewhere cozy and relaxing. Otherwise I'll save in a pokemon center as if I'm spending the night there.

I have an entire art folder dedicated to saving comfy pictures and I've probably posted pic related already but I don't care coz I love it. I love pictures that depict family and togetherness. I was crazy for these comfy pictures at one point (still am; but not that much), I'd look up pokemon remixes on YouTube because they have very good thumbnails sometimes, Pixiv, Zerochan, gelbooru, tumblr, obscure Japanese and Chinese blogs and what not...I'm quite proud of them. Gen4 & 5 are maximum comfy honestly. Oh yeah and my file names are terrible.

I love art depicting towns, cities and the other locations in Pokemon. This one is very rare, and I don't know if this counts as comfy, but i personally find it calm and soothing.

Hmmm... Not really. Nowadays the only pokémon game I play is a pretty good emerald hack and I always save in my secret base.

The last comfy thread I was in actually made me bring up that pic to him and telling him how comfy it would be to just lay there on the grass in a secluded area. Unova had a lot good routs and areas.

Kanto: I've actually not reached the Kanto region in any games but I will soon

Johto: Ecruteak and Olivine

Hoenn: Fortree, Lavaridge, Lilycove

Sinnoh: Floaroma, Canalave, Celestic, Hearthome

Unova: Mistralton, Anville, and the Village Bridge

Kalos: Laverre, Dendemille, and Snowbelle

Alola: I literally cannot remember any of the towns in Alola. Man, that region was a disappointment IMO

In Kalos Couriway Town is the comfiest place to me easily. The waterfalls are very nice.
One of my favorite moments in the game and my favorite moment in X and Y happened there. Professor Sycamore shows up and tells you that he left a present there for you years ago while he was on his own journey. I scoured the place looking for a rare item but only found, like 1 potion. After searching for way too long I look it up online and someone on a Gamefaq forum says they're not sure but they think it's the carving hidden on a pillar. So I walk up to the pillar and there's a message from Prof Sycamore from his past self to his future self. It asks a couple deep questions like where does he see himself 5 years in the future? Where did his self from 5 years in the past see him today? Stuff like that. It made me put down my 3ds for a while and actually answer the questions myself. It added depth to both Prof Sycamore and X and Y as a whole.
I always tell myself I'll eventually make a thread here asking how many other people found it and if they enjoyed it as much as I did... but I never seem to get around to it.
That very personal touch to the game made the whole town comfy to me.

Damn, nice one anon. Couriway was an honorable mention for me in Kalos I'd say. I really wish we'd gotten more of Kalos. I didn't mind XY, they just didn't get the traction they deserved.

Anyways, this song always puts me in a weird mood. It makes me nostalgic and happy of course, but it also makes me a bit sad, maybe because it reminds me of days where I didn't have a care in the world and I was young enough to just play games all day. I probably just envy the youthfulness and the ignorance, I suppose, that comes with being young. This song will always have a special place in my heart.

Kanto: I actually couldn't tell you. I never played RBY/FRLG, and only visited Kanto through Heart Gold, so it never really stuck with me.
Johto: Not sure if this counts, but probably Route 47. There's nothing particularly interesting there, but just the cliffside walk is nice, and the music is probably my favorite route theme in all of Pokemon.
Hoenn: Fortree City, and/or Route 120. I can't really explain it.
Sinnoh: Not sure. Celestic Town is awfully nice, though.
Unova: Tie between Lentimas Town, Village Bridge, and Icirrus Town. Lentimas just feels like watching the sunset, Village Bridge is obvious, and I mostly love Icirrus for the theme.
Kalos: Geosenge Town is historically comfy, I like the "seaside cliff" aspect of Coumarine City, and Laverre City and Route 14 are just nice for the spooky-comfy feeling.
Alola: Mount Hokulani and the Hokulani Observatory are fun, especially at night - I'm a sucker for mountains and stars. Tapu Village is exceedingly comfy for similar reasons.

I've always loved the credit scenes of the Pokemon movies. They show the quiet times of the gang's adventure, things that weren't shown. Makes them feel like tangible characters and gives me a happy feeling.

What you describe sounds kinda like my life, though pokemon isn't nearly the only thing I do in life. I have a full time job and my own appartement where I live alone, the place is littered with pokemon related stuff, and my collection just keeps growing. I come home from work, exercise, eat food and usually spend the rest of my free time on pokemon, reorganising my stuff, playing games, looking through artwork and when I'm tired, watching the show. It's a comfy life but I think it'd get lonely if pokemon were the only thing in it.

I dont think about pokemon everyday, and i think special moments when i find some good artwork or check /vp/ and see a comfy thread are what make my really happy because it will remind me about the wonderful world that is pokemon and spark my interest for a bit, never letting it die out completely but I can still focus on things outside it.

By far one of my favourite towns in Pokemon. Just imagine laying on the flower fields with your eyes closed and the sweet aroma of the flowers and berries mixed with honey wafting through the air and the sun shining warmly at your skin. Soft chirping as well perhaps and just a overall pleasant aura. Sinnoh was so comfy, man.

i got my weepinbell who is now a victreebel in plat, taught it thief, it already knew gastro acid, and transferred it to my soul silver cart.

I've done this so I can use thief to get the leftovers and black sludge from Koga's pokemon (in the elite four rematch battles).

This is a neat thing I found out about just a few weeks back.

Sinnoh was a really nice and comfy region, but ultimately my favorite was Unova. I got White and W2, so I got to enjoy the juxtaposition of the big cities like Nimbasa and Castelia, but also the naturalistic atmosphere. Usually I play Pokemon nonstop for a while and come back and start a new game and it happens all over again. If you haven't try different methods of playing like Nuzlocke or other challenges. It keeps the game fresh and you may end up making new Pokemon friends along the way.

Favorite region for me has to be either Johto or Kalos. Johto is very comfy and has a lot of good memories for me, and many people didn't like it but I loved Kalos's many different environments.

it's half past mjidnight here, i'm in bed playing some soul-silver, training some pokemon and stuff like that. it was pretty hot today where i live, had a pretty good day tho and tomorrow should be decent too, tonight has been nice and cool tho which i love, and how good are cold showers as well, so refreshing! I also love ice cold water, I always have bottles of it in the fridge coz I drink heaps. Stay hydrated friendo in the hot weather.

That does sound comfy as fuck. I'm playing through pokemon silver again, but only play 10-20 minutes before sleep each night so the run will take a while. Gen 2 is the comfiest generation for me, maybe it's the music, maybe it's just nostalgia, who knows. Have fun with that masterpiece of a game!

And yes hydration is of utmost importance! No coffee on hot days, only lots and lots of water. My glorious nordic body wasn't made for this. I thrive in -10. Got an evening shift and a couple nightshifts ahead of me, they're a lot more bearable. Also comfy. I like nightshifts.

Kinda bad honestly, but tomorrow is a new day so I'm feeling fine now. I've been playing Explorers of Sky for the first time (though I played Time years ago) and I'm having lots of fun. The Special Episodes and the postgame stuff are really great especially, I never realized how fun it was. The more new dungeons and rare items I discover the more I want to play

Great taste! Explorers of sky is one of my all time favourite games aswell. I recommend super mystery dungeon too if you like the genre, the story isn't as compelling as explorers of sky, but it makes up for it in terms of gameplay. Recently finished all post game stuff, collected all treasures and cleared all dungeons except one. (fuck sacred ruins)
