Hypothetical next PMD game, would you want it to be online? as in you don't have to but you have the option of going in dungeons with other players? or would you want online to be restricted to something like PvP?

Honestly, as long as you're never backtracking, you're doing good. Strictly speaking, a zig-zag pattern would be faster (since you're cutting corners rather than completely crossing rooms), but it's not by much, and I actually don't know how diagonals work for hunger calculation.

Depending on your leader, if you raise your IQ enough, you get a feature that lets you automatically locate the stairs. Eevee at least has it.
