Without going for a flashcart. Honestly thinking about going for the Wii U VC version because it gives the $10 to Nintendo and shows them there's still interest in these games, instead of some greedy reseller asking almost double the original MSRP on a 10 year old game.

I feel like it might make for an interesting post-game story. If we were still in the middle of gen 7 I would want them to be part of the main story with Guzzlord final boss but now it's a little too late. The only way I can imagine it now is

Then start the whole arc of UBs coming in and fucking up shit. Maybe make someone's house get destroyed.

I'm triggered. I wish it wasn't so RNG dependent, because deeper floors are impossible without a Pass Scarf, Frustration learned, enough Joy Seeds to keep competitive, and enough Apples/Max Elixirs to make it that deep in the first place.

You should, you could play in bed and if need be you can use savestates for postgame BS. I've played Sky on an emulator myself but never used savestates since I wanted to do things legit but some of the postgame dungeons are understandable if you want to give yourself a "checkpoint"

The main game is actually a lot of fun, but it's technically the prologue and the postgame is just massive, if super repetitive. Definitely a game to take slowly and play every now and then.

There wasn't a gap year because gf was hell bent on milking the 3ds and shitting out a terrible game. I wouldn't reasonably expect another PMD until 2020. They'd be foolish to release one even a few months after gen 8 drops. I'd say start worrying if 2020 passes without one

Then why are you blaming GF for the lack of a PMD game when it's not their focus? Literally all GF does is mainline games, everything else is The Pokemon Company or a third party like Genius Sonority or Chunsoft. LGBT can't take away development time from a PMD because GF never would have done a PMD in the first place.

All of the past PMD games had 2-3 years time between them. We are now approaching double that. Wouldn't there have been an announcement by now of a new installment, if they actually were making a new one?
