I would assume that, if Hatterene were to ever be in a Poke Amie game, the true body would be it's displeased spot and touching it would annoy her, but she would withhold herself and just ask you not to do it again.
So if someone that Hatterene trusts and is great friends with tried to brush aside her hair to see her true form, I imagine she'd get a little upset but calm down and just kindly ask them not to do it again the same way, say, a Kangaskhan will act the way someone IT trusts tried to touch it's baby.
If a random dude in the middle of nowhere tried to do that with a random wild Hatterene though I imagine the locals would find his remains splattered all over the trees in a display that would make a Bear Attack seem merciful.
