yeah, if any fire attack will already ohko it there's zero downside to dry skin
just don't send it out to pokemon with fire attacks

Just make it grass. The bug is dead, right? That'd be a neat touch to lose the bug type since the bug is now just a husk. It could still learn bug moves since the fungus is controlling the bug's body.

Scizor could pivot out and do some damage with U-Turn, your parasect there needs to switch out, which does no damage to the opponent, and gets another one of your Pokémon damaged with no positive gain, OR gives the opponent a free stat boost.

It will die before it can ever use spore. Even max speed ev's and iv's it's still slower than 90% of other pokemon and it's weak to half the fucking types.
