I'm not even saying "old good new bad" but the recent games have felt more and more like shiny new toys; everyone wants to play them at release due to FOMO, finishes them, and waits for the next one. The lack of replayability feels absurd. The plot and characters don't leave a serious impact or are memorable at all.
