/tcc/ - Trading Card Collector's General: Stolen Assets Edition

Previous >>53632154

The facts:
>It's not recent, this occurred in late 2021.
>These are indeed stolen and someone from Pokemon or the print facility collected these for evidence.
>These were shipped to a store in TX from someone in CA (who shipped to an LGS out of state for obvious reasons), but apparently the CA person bought these from someone else
>These were stolen at the time wave 2 was being printed, and wave 2 not only started the trend of people accusing Pokemon of nerfing pull rates in future waves, but FS itself dropped in price drastically in January after release because of "bad pull rates". This may or may not have been a factor in those things.

What this means:
TPCI knew about these stolen cards for the last year and didn't publicly mention anything, let people continue to buy boxes well knowing that the pull rates could have been skewed. What does this mean for the future of PTCG? Were the people that purchased Fusion Strike and Evolving Skies packs cheated? Do pack openers deserve this? Why did this retard try to sell them all at once? Discuss below
