>>54520244The only fucking thing anyone fucking gens for is to get the minimum IVs in Speed for Trick Room, or Attack for Foul Play. Like everything else you can fucking do it no time at all, literally the vast majority of Pokemon Min IV shit doesnt fucking matter and it takes no fucking time at all to EV train a pokemon and slap the right moves on it, you dont need to do weird transfer bullshit to get obscure old ass move tutor or breeding moves from one game, bottle caps are a joke to get, its literally just when you want Min Attack or Speed IVs. Like literally you're either spending a few minutes to take your hacked switch, dump the save file, shove it into PKHex and change the IVs, or you spend like an hour at worst getting the Min IV version for one of two stats because otherwise you dont give a shit what the IVs are or you just max them with a Bottle Cap. You don't need a billion RNG things to go off anymore, natures dont matter, other IVs dont matter, Egg moves dont matter, move tutor moves dont matter. What fucking advantage, that building a team jumps from like 10 minutes to maybe a few hours if you need pokemon with Min IVs in one of literally only two stats? That's literally an irrelevant difference, it doesnt make you better at the game, it doesnt give you some impossible shit thats technically possible but mathematically not even worth thinking about, it just fucking saves you a couple hours if you happen to use a certain few pokemon and thats fucking it, hell Foul Play doesnt even matter for some special attackers with such a dogshit attack stat that nobody would bother targeting them with it anyway. There's nothing that you get out of genning that you couldn't accomplish in a trivial amount of time otherwise, everyone's using the same shit no matter if you grind it or not and they're practicing on Showdown anyway, what actual fucking advantage is there even, you can't use hacked stats, moves, or abilities in comp anyway.
