I'm in europe, and if your internet turns out to be slow as shit you can just change to another ISP in your area that's faster. Usually you'll get about 4-5 other options. Americans, from what I've been told, don't seem to have that luxury because of Comcast's monopoly. It makes me wonder why she didn't research the internet's stability in the area as a priority before moving.
