The Republicans have the MAGA faction, Libertarians who understand they hold no power or influence as their own party, old Neocons MIC shills who still think they're at the height of the cold war, Christian nationalists, etc. The Democrats have the Progressives, Socialists, Neolib MIC shills who think they're at the height of the cold war, Christian Progressives, etc. Neither party are actually unified in belief systems but I guess that is all a moot point when at the end of the day they just vote for whoever is on the ballot that is more popular that has their party next to their name.
