>La Lion summerIt's HER time bros. I'll definitely give it a read when you put something out. As for a "code" for adventure stories, I'm not sure there is one. I literally just had an idea one day involving wanting to go on a magic adventure with a fluffy sheep, and just started from nothing. From there I kinda molded the early stuff around the characters involved, and it slowly escalated and expanded from there. As you begin to paint the world of your adventure, more things will start to click in your mind and fall into place. What helps me sometimes is trying to think about what it is like to live in that world, or even be my character and experiencing thing from their pov. There are things I want to keep striving to improve as well, like my setting descriptors. I want to drag my readers into that place and make them feel the atmosphere. That would be cool.
