Dry is not bad, in fact its preferred in terms of a general thread if the catalog is anything to go by. Stuffing it with flowery filling isn't likely to draw anyone in more than a basic description of what the thread's supposed to be about and it takes a bit of time dragging its feet to get there. A lot of tourist get overwhelmed from the archives alone, I doubt a super in your face vaugely homosexual solicitation is going to make those people anymore likely to keep checking in. It does at least work as an icebreaker though so that's good.
