I don't know if anyone cares about this aside from me, but I asked here whether watching holos through jetri will fuck with my jewtube algorithm, and no one cared or knew enough to answer me, so I went to do a bit of investigation by myself and found that
Yes, watching holos in jetri will fuck with your YT algorithm.
My admittedly quick investigation was done in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge, incognito mode, and was done in 4 steps with me closing all browsers after each step to clean the slate;
>Step 1: Open YT only, no searching for Holo
Unsurprisingly, none of the recommendations were Holo in nature, just some random shit
>Step 2: Opem YT, search for live streams using YT and open them in new tabs, then refresh homepage
The homepage gave me recommendations for live streams AND some clips. Not a lot, but noticeable. Unsurprising
>Step 3: Open YT, open up jetri, watch livestreams, refresh YT homepage
Results here were similar to in Step 2, in that despite having never searched for holos in YT but only in jetri, holo stuff were still being recommended to me in my homepage
>Step 4: Open jetri FIRST, watch livestreams, only then opened my YT
Similar results to Step 2 & 3. My homepage had a noticeable amount of holo live streams and clips being recommended
in short, watching holos exclusively in jetri still fucks with your YT algorithm. Thank you for coming to my ted talk
