>>75574515>obviously Gura's feelings > 'doing her job' in any sane worldonly you make it an exclusive choice, as far as the story I saw was, Mori tried to address both to the extent of her abilities, which I guess we just fundamentally disagree with
> 'just doing your job' is noble in and of itself somehowsomeone who sticks to their responsibilities even if they're inconvenient to them at the time is admirable, especially considering my belief that she tried to find a way that worked for everyone - which, based on her word and to no word against it, she did
>Mori failed Kiara early on by being closed off to her in their early days and reacting poorly to Kiara's fumbling attempts at making Takamori work as a unitand yet she was there to help her animate and mix her original songs
>Mori failed Kiara again by having little interaction with Kiara after she went to Austria and was in her 'nobody reached out to me' arc; Takamori got put on ice for a long time because of thisand when she looked back on it, she decided to be more forward with her appreciation of Kiara
>Mori failed Gura at the airbnb incident and seemingly never really repaired that relationshipand yet she still mentioned how she tried to reach a solution where everyone is comfortable and the only argument against it is you and people alike saying that she lied, while none of the Myth girls, not even Gura, ever implied such
>Mori failed her deadbeats and nearly all of Myth with the lean incident; being antagonistic to her own fanbase and nearly getting herself cannedand yet she openly talked about how regretul and sorry she was over how it affected her fans and she's mentioning over and over how her trying her best now is largely in attempt to make up for her past fumbles
>Mori even failed her closest friend simply by debuting after getting the job her friend wanted 'as a joke' (according to herself)this is just insane because it implies that Mori not applying or rejecting it after being accepted would grant said friends the spot on Myth
once again, every point you bring up shows someone that made a lot of mistakes early on but had been earnestly, continuously working to better all of them, which is supported by statements from nearly everyone around them and you somehow want me to take your jaded perspective because... idk, cause being cynical wins in the end? cause one should accept either absolute perfection or nothing at all?
if I agreed with either, why would I even watch Hololive or idols in general
