SIN CLASSIFICATION: ENVY
I didn't want to just write another "jealousy bad" song.
So I thought I'd take a different stance, and I'd try to take a look at my past self, who I still hold envy for.
Clueless, nonchalant but also happy and mentally and physically healthy. I'm getting better, but I'm not quite where I used to be back in the day. I didn't know what I had back then, in some regards. Now let's not pretend that my present is anything to scoff at, hold up....maybe an additional sin should have been ungratefulness? There are still some days that feel sad. Maybe that's just human nature, and that's okay.
But, to feel envious of a me that took a different path, to a me that existed long ago- all these other "myselfs" walking like ghosts around me; it's not good. And that's why it's a sin to me. Each day I'm working harder and harder to not only be the best Mori I can be, but also be at peace with myself and find happiness in whatever form it might take. Mama Mori always told me that I focus a lot on making others happy, I don't have any time to search for my own happiness. But I think coming here and finding my way as The Grim Reaper changed my life for the better, and even though I may wonder "what could have been," it doesn't matter.
I think I can truly say I'm on the path to finding my own happiness!

There's still so much treasure left for us to find!!
