>>52175741>Daemons with high MIQ can...Oh, that's good! There could be models of Daemon that share the same genome, but difference in cerebral capacity leads to some components not developing because the Daemon is not able to use them, a bit how your tendons can degrade if they don't get used/stimulated often enough. Like a Civic DX vs a Civic LX, same model but one is expressed more fully.
Normal liquid would have some interesting effects! For example, a big source of lethality when a human is next to an explosion is blast lung injury, which occurs when a shockwave travels through the body and causes an overpressure in the lungs, destroying them in the process. This happens because air can easily change volume. If the lungs are filled with incompressible liquid instead, it would be a lot more difficult to get some kind of blast lung injury.
Also, it can act as a really good pressure suit. Basically, when the body undergoes an acceleration, the tissues and blood of the body squish down while air moves above it, ordered by density. If the space is filled with a liquid with the same density as the body, all the fluid gets pushed down equally, applying an equal pressure on the surface of the body. That means less deformation. Apparently, with all the air replaced with liquid you could handle accelerations above 20G without other modifications!
