>>40625562there's a fundamental difference in behavior of JP homo interactions and EN homo ones.
1. Sora is the daisenpai, and always had no problems with male collabs or any homo collabs. She still has gachis, because she never flirts with them on stream, everything is kept professional, and she never shits on her audience.
2. Suisei is the diva, the most popular singer in Holo, and naturally has no issues collabing with males when there's music involved (Inotaku, the homo Cinema cover etc.). She has explicitly mentioned on stream that she won't be able to give anything to her gachikois, but she has the anyway, because again - she doesn't flirt with any of the homos or Inotaku. Everything is strictly professional. And again, she does not shit on her fans who may dislike the content, she naturally allows them to filter out if they are that extreme.
3. Ditto with Azki, professional, music oriented.
4. Same with Towa, but with the topic of FPS stuff. There's "bantz" with the males of course, but never any outright flirting, and she doesn't shit on her audience who doesn't like it either.
5. Matsuri is the closest one who could be called an "EN-lite" when it comes to homo collabs, but even her "flirting" consists of bombarding the males with dirty jokes to keep them embarrassed (since none of them can afford to hit back with their own lewd jokes without coming off as creepy). So the dynamic becomes more along the lines of an "annoying sister" figure. She has less gachis due to this, but some remain all the same, because she - again - does not shit on her audience that dislikes this content.
Meanwhile, EN has -
1. Ame, addressed the homo collab topics and directly shit on her audience who were concerned about the direction of her content changing because of them.
2. Kronii, who doubly shit on her audience because she cultivated a parasocial fanbase from her own actions on stream and on member streams. Making the betrayal far more painful. She also went heavy on the flirting stuff during the collabs, again shitting on her fanbase - that she herself cultivated - with her actions.
Mori and Bae are the only two who maintain some amount of professional distance between their collab partners. They still have schizos naturally, but nothing about their opinions in the general fandom had any change because of their homo collabs.
