>>11482486>this might be because I'm not fluent in nippon, but it seems to me like the jp girls are kinda catty towards each-other and have cliches. much more "idol"-like.I think you got the wrong impression. They're not really more "idol"-like. The "idol" of Hololive is the general idea of being an idol. It's about working hard, pushing through hardships. Hololive itself started as nobodies. Ina achieving her dreams by becoming a vtuber is "being an idol", even if "normal" idols mostly sing and dance. Towa winning the CR cup with her team is "being an idol", even if it's Apex.
Every Hololive gen has its special thing. I love EN 1, and their work is impressive, but I also love all the other gens, and all of the small groups that they have. Cross-gen groups like Subaru/Choco/Luna/Botan are always a ton of fun.
You might think that they aren't as close to each other as EN1 simply because they are way more of them. If you have 5 colleagues, it's easy to talk to everyone in a week. It's easy to work on something together every month. When you have more than 20 colleagues, there are some of them that you won't see often. Especially when your job is centered around you as a person, and not a group of people
