Many people tend to view a meme DND campaign as inherently less interesting than a campaign that features real characters with actual development. But, if nothing else, it can still prove wildly entertaining. Last night showed exactly that as Froot, Nyan, Haruka, and Vei continued their absurd campaign helmed by DM BrettUltimus. It's only their second session so it's not hard to get caught up if you missed out, but let's just say that the first episode is a tough recommendation thanks to a certain character's voice. Thankfully, that issue's been entirely resolved as of episode 2, and it was leagues better as a result. It's the kind of stream that's difficult to summarize, but most people in the thread seemed to agree that Nyan, Froot, and Vei taking turns beating up Haruka, their own party member, until she was so dazed she believed a bloody smear was a new friend was the the height of the session's absurdity. Next time promises to have a very interesting fishing mechanic, and hopefully Snuffy will be feeling well enough to join!
After DND the big thing going on was a bizarre number of active streams at one time. Despite having streamed that morning and being part of DND, Vei went live and, no joke, watched a 3 hour long Nigerian movie. The fake pink cat also re-emerged to sing some karaoke, and both happened while Silver and Mouse were already live. But like any good movie, the stinger came at the end of the night with Mouse's stream. She talked about some of her upcoming models for next year, and says in 2022 we'll be getting a Season 3 Ironmouse that looks different from the current default. She also mentioned a second new design that will be tie into Vei's big shared lore. The one that Snuffy is already a part of. And the one that Mouse casually leaked Nyan will also be a part of. And she was about to leak more likely Silver's involvement but stopped herself, cleared her throat, and promptly ended stream. So look forward to a big shared universe of VShojo+ vtuber lore next year!
Interesting Friday, but now we're heading straight into a calm weekend. Enjoy the relative peace before a pretty big event next week. The redebut of a green moose!
